This branding proposal for the North Brooklyn Community Boathouse walks the line between the neighborhood’s best kept secret and an open invitation.
The logo is anchored by an artistic riff on the local Pulaski Bridge, with boats, paddles, and the flora and fauna of the surrounding waterway masked into its structure. The expressive typography gives the brand an unmistakable presence at any scale.
The intent was always to broadcast the boathouse outward, and connect more New Yorkers with the waterways in their own backyard.
