Christina Adamson is an art director and designer with 6+ years of experience in agency and freelance settings. Through her work, she explores how strategic thinking and artful whimsy unite to deliver one of a kind creative. Her approach focuses on thoughtful, thorough exploration and a “what if we try…?” attitude.

Christina cut her teeth working in advertising in the lifestyle, hospitality, beauty, travel, and health spaces. Since 2022 she has worked at The Washington Post as a Senior Designer on the Brand & Consumer Marketing Team. At The Post, she has enthusiastically explored ways to shift perception of a globally renowned, heritage brand through both the macro and micro; by way of splashy, multi-platform campaigns to results-driven house ads.

Among her many endeavors, Christina has developed an avid interest in type design. First realizing her passion in 2019 at SVA’s Residency in Typography, she went on to graduate from The Cooper Union’s Type@Cooper in 2021, producing a number of typefaces along the way. Christina can’t help but to apply typographic expertise to her work, be it through an unexpected layout approach or simply evaluating legibility.

Christina works and lives in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
